Parkway construction moves forward while timeline questions remain
Residents again asked about cost and timing for the Farmersville Parkway project. Engineers said utilities are relocating and underground work is progressing. Crews plan to begin paving on the west end first, with drivable pavement expected in a few weeks. Officials are still calculating extra contract days requested by the contractor.

Water district agreement expected at a future council meeting

New bank accounts approved for city events
Council approved opening separate bank accounts for the Farmersville Lights event and the Audie Murphy Day event. Officials also approved giving city finance staff online access to manage those accounts through Commercial Bank of Texas.
